UM Terminals owns storage assets in Great Britain. It is a niche supplier of bulk liquid storage facilities to the food, industrial, feed and energy sectors in the UK with over 300,000 cubic metres of storage assets located in Liverpool, Hull and Portbury.
This particular terminal, United Molasses is the North Alfred Dock facility which sits at the entrance to the Birkenhead dock system and offers 16,000m3 of storage for heated and non-heated products. The site has a state-of-the-art tank radar and temperature monitoring system that advises on product level, condition and operational status.
